Dance School

The Cuban Ernesto Martínez lives since 2000 in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland and teaches dance in Salsa Cubana. He received his training as a professional dancer and dance teacher in Havana, the capital of the Caribbean island. He is trained in various Cuban dance styles, such as the traditional Son Cubano and in Rumba, in Modern Salsa Cubano and in Afro-Cuban folklore such as Palo Monte and Yoruba.

Travel

Habana Dance offers Cuban travel, cultural and nature tours, in groups, family or individual depending on the interest of the clients in licensed private accommodations or hotels throughout Cuba.

Habana Dance organizes three types of trips:

• Dance Trips: trips led by Ernesto Martinez including dance lessons.
• Diamond: you choose your itinerary from a kit of defined services
• Individual: you put together your itinerary and we help you book transportation, accommodations and activities

Cultural activities: Guided tours in the city, classes in dance, percussion, singing, art or even Spanish courses.Nature offers: Trips to waterfalls, hiking, beaches, hotels in beautiful places, catamaran, diving, islands. etc

Every year during spring break we offer a 15 to 20 day group trip. A combination of different offers and places in Cuba to get to know the country with its touristic, cultural and gastronomic offers. It is an opportunity to get in direct contact with locals and to get to know the social life, the accommodations and the daily reality of Cubans.

Event

Ernesto Martínez grew up in Cuba in a famous family of musicians and artists, and from there he traveled the world with the dance group Raices Profundas. In 2005 he founded Habana Dance, his own dance school. In 2009 he won Swiss and Vice European Champion titles in Salsa and Bachata. In addition, he won other BEST awards in Switzerland and abroad. Ernesto Martínez has become Swiss and has been organizing events and private functions for 18 years. His thinking and reliability therefore already resemble more a Swiss than a Cuban. 2016 his first music CD on the market.

Since we cooperate with the main distributors of Cuban cigars and Cuban rum, we can make appropriate Augebote ( eg bar with Cuban drinks or cigars rolling on site ).
