What could be better than the opportunity to turn your hobby into a profession? Idefix Tauchen & Reisen GmbH is managed by Christian Krähenbühl.

Christian has been diving since 2000 and Michaela, his wife, found this enchanting and relaxing hobby through her love for Christian in 2003. While Christian continued his education until he became an instructor and also gained experience in Trimix diving, Michaela decided to enjoy diving exclusively as an Open Water Diver and to explore the underwater world together with Christian.

A few years ago the company Idefix Reisen was founded, which was mainly run as a 2nd mainstay. When towards the end of 2012 the opportunity arose to buy a great dive store with dive school in Root - both did not have to think long and so it came that Christian is now the proud owner of Idefix Tauchen & Reisen GmbH.

Also on board are three top motivated and enthusiastic diving instructors - Monika, Ivan and Philipp. We are happy to have these three at our side and convinced that they are exactly the right ones to impart the necessary knowledge, fun and love for diving to budding divers.

What else is there to say about us? We are both in our forties, live in Bergdietikon AG, like people and animals very much and generally treat all living creatures with the necessary respect - above and below water. We are both in the voluntary fire department and have a lot of fun with it. We especially like the camaraderie and also to learn and experience new things again and again.

Of course we also have goals, wishes and dreams...

Our goal is to provide the best services for our customers and to be able to offer up-to-date equipment for sale at any time. We want our customers to feel like kings and tell this to all their acquaintances.

Wishes... We mainly wish for honesty and sincerity - this on the one hand from our friends and families and also from our customers. We would rather someone who is dissatisfied tell us directly and communicate openly with us about it. If people just don't talk to us or come to us anymore and we don't know why, we can't learn from mistakes.

Dreams... To stay healthy and happy, to have success with Idefix Tauchen & Reisen GmbH and... to meet a great white shark someday under water and in the wild. Whereby we come to another wish: Please, everyone should take more care of our environment and support institutions for the protection of our seas... Because if the overfishing and finning continues like this... it will probably remain a dream for us to dive with a great white one day.
