Museum für Musikautomaten (Seewen SO)

The sounding museum houses one of the world's largest collections of Swiss music boxes and a diverse selection of music automatons from centuries past.

A detour to the museum shop and the restaurant round off the sounding museum visit.

Under the title "Switzerland - the land of sound pioneers", the museum offers a guided tour of the permanent exhibition, which includes a focus on Swiss music boxes. The visit to this exhibition is included in the admission price and leads through various halls in which visitors are not only enchanted by the sounds of the music boxes.

Both the Workshop Room and the Salon Bleu house Swiss music boxes and Swiss record music boxes, which form the central part of the museum's collection in Seewen.
